Leighton Meester is an American performer, actress, singer and songwriter. Most famously, she is known for her role as 'Blair Waldorf from the television drama show 'Gossip Girls.' Leighton Meester began her career in the field in the early years of her life as a girl. She performed in the stage production in her local town for "Wizard of Oz" throughout her youth. The show sparked her curiosity to perform. Her first job was performing in commercials as well as modeling. She's been professional models for large companies like "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. She first made an acting debut with the series 'Law & Order,' and took on cameo roles in TV series and feature films like 'Country Strong,' 'Monte Carlo' as well as "Killer Movie.'
